School Uniform – Tracksuit
The Board of Management has decided that we continue with the uniform and jacket (optional) that we have but we are introducing the option of a generic tracksuit. This consists of a plain grey tracksuit bottoms and grey sweatshirt with a red polo shirt underneath. Samples from the local chain stores are on display in the school (please see image below). Families are welcome to continue to use the tracksuits they have. Tracksuits will continue to be worn on PE days only.

Donation of clothes and household items in aid of Enable Ireland
Dear Parents, the school has organised a collection of clothes and old house items in aid of Enable Ireland and we will be providing you with bags in the next few days. Please remember to drop your bags back in the school on Monday 4th November between 9.20 am and 2 pm as they will be collected when school is finished that day. Thank you for your support.

Halloween Disco
Kids Fancy Dress Halloween Disco
Sat 26 Oct 4-6 pm,
Avoca Community Hall, admission €3 per child.
In Aid of Avoca School Parents Association.
Parents urgently needed to assist during the disco.
All children must be accompanied by an adult during the disco.

Parents Association AGM Wednesday 25th September at 8pm
The Parents’ Association Annual General Meeting will be held at the School Hall on Wednesday 25th September at 8pm. All parents are welcome to attend and participate.
