Olympic Essays 2012

Students from 3rd class and up entered the annual essay competition. This years topic, chosen by 6th class, was the Olympics. Essays varied from being athletes competing, coaches, volunteering, judging and watching the games. Every essay had to be handed up by the 26th of October. Ms. Brennan spent the Halloween holidays correcting the essays and judged who won.
Our winners of the essay competition were Aoife and Isabelle (6th), Chloe (5th),
Jessica and Oisín (4th) and Conor (3rd). Daniel won the best handwriting prize.
Our winners received KatieTaylor’s autobiography ; signed by the author!
