Frank Redmond won ‘Most Topical’ for dressing as one of the Chilean Miners.
On Friday 22nd of October the children of Avoca National School got inventive with costumes to enter the four competitions that were held in school. There were lots of creative, scary and original costumes. Prizes were given under the following catogries: Scariest, Most Topical, Most Original and Best Homemade.

Jack Moore won the prize for Scariest costume
- Popper the Popcorn
Alana Pender- Barnes won Most Original for this very creative Popcorn costume.
To Arthur!
Shaun Roche won ‘Best Homemade’ for dressing as a pint of Guinness.
A great day was had by all.
